Grizzlies Prep is the only all-boys middle school of its kind affiliated with an NBA franchise team. We attract students and their families who are committed to the holistic success of young men across our city. We know the feelings of frustration when searching for a school that meets the needs of your son inside and outside of the classroom. Grizzlies Prep wants to be a part of your son's village. Complete Enrollment (new families)

Registration

The necessary enrollment documents must be received prior to your son’s first day at Grizzlies Prep. Please upload your documents to the PowerSchool Enrollment portal. If this is not an option for you, you may take a clear picture on your cell phone and email them to the Grizzlies Prep Enrollment Team at enrollment@grizzliesprep.org.

After this is complete you still must submit your registration via PowerSchool Enrollment to be fully added to our roster.

Grizzlies Prep will need the following documents to successfully enroll your son:

Birth Certificate
Immunization Form (must have appropriate box checked)
2 proofs of residency with the same address (Drivers License, MLGW Bill, W2 etc.)
State photo I.D. if you did not upload it as proof of residency
Final Report Card
Most recent copy of IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)

Note: All 7th grade students must receive the T-DAP immunization prior to entering 7th grade.

The first day of school is Monday, July 31st.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 8:00 am - 3:25 pm (doors open at 7:45 am)

Fridays: 8:00 am - 2:25 pm (doors open at 7:45 am)

Grizzlies Prep Uniforms

What we wear…

Grizzlies Prep has a uniform policy that every family to must adhere to. Our Brothers wear their button down oxford shirts Monday thru Thursday along with a black or brown belt, navy or khaki pants (no shorts), and nuetral colored casual shoes (see example below). Ties are earned, they are not purchased unless a replacement is needed.

Friday uniform: Grizzlies Prep t-shirt, college t-shirt, Memphis Grizzlies shirts/ jerseys, black or brown belt, jeans (no holes), and tennis shoes.

VENDOR INFOrmation

Visit Champion Promotion, our uniform vendor, located at 3649 Winplace Rd., Memphis, TN 38118 to purchase official Grizzlies Prep uniform merchandise.

The only item that must be purchased from the vendor is the button down shirt.

Backpacks

Backpacks must be clear or mesh.

Transportation

Grizzlies Prep runs both a North and South route. Our bus sign-up went out the week of May 29th to all families who’d completed re enrollment and new families who’d accepted offers. The buses are now full. To join our waitlist you may complete this form.

Supply fee

Grizzlies Prep will never ask parents to purchase school supplies. Our supply fee is $75 and covers the following: student supplies, each student's tie, one grade level field trip, and one ELA novel. You may break the supply fee down into two or three payments. However, the $75 must be received by Friday, September 2nd in full. You may pay in person, by debit or credit card over the phone, or via Cash App ($GrizzliesPrepCS). When paying by Cash App please include your son's first and last name. (ex. John Smith - supply fee)
